<p><span class="caps">PROFILE</span>: PhD in Molecular Biology (bacterial genetics); Dr. Ir.; Expertise in Molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, microbial genetics, systems biology, immunology; bioinformatics applications; Wet lab experience; Project and team management experience; Experience in working under accreditation <span class="caps">ISO17025</span>;</p>
<p><span class="caps">CURRENT</span> <span class="caps">ACTIVITY</span>: Currently responsible of the <span class="caps">BIOTECH</span>lab at the <span class="caps">PBB</span> (transversal technical and scientific unit at <span class="caps">WIV</span>-<span class="caps">ISP</span>) involving the development of new methods in support of a proactive public health policy (e.g. pathogen detection <span class="amp">&</span> characterization, human genetic and epigenetic biomarkers), a Sequencing Center (Sanger and <span class="caps">NGS</span>) and supervision of several PhD students.</p>
